How to Troubleshoot Error Message on iPads or Android Tablets - VEXcode IQ Blocks

One of the following errors might appear when wirelessly connecting to a VEX IQ Brain:


  • Try force closing VEXcode IQ Blocks and reopening VEXcode IQ Blocks.
  • If the issue does not resolve, please leave Feedback within VEXcode IQ Blocks.

Try the following steps to fix this error:

  1. Try force closing VEXcode IQ Blocks and reopening VEXcode IQ Blocks.
  2. Close any and all other apps running before restarting the VEXcode IQ Blocks app. 
  3. Restart the VEXcode IQ Blocks app to see if the connection is now successful. 

If that doesn’t work, try the following:

  1. Try force closing VEXcode IQ Blocks and reopening VEXcode IQ Blocks.
  2. Toggle to turn off the Bluetooth on the tablet, wait five seconds, and then toggle again to turn the Bluetooth back on.
  3. Reopen the VEXcode IQ Blocks app.

Note: Suspending the app and Bluetooth will break the connection and may require repeating the process for wirelessly connecting.
